Drop-in anchor provides a secure hold within solid masonry and solid uncracked concrete
Zinc-plated carbon steel body expands within the mounting surface to secure the anchor in place
The one-piece carbon-steel anchor body is zinc plated for corrosion resistance. The body expands within the drilled hole to secure the anchor in place. When installed, the anchor does not protrude from the drilled hole, enabling flush anchoring of an object to the mounting surface.
Once the anchor has been placed into the drilled hole, the setting tool (sold separately) inserts into the threaded portion of the anchor and a hammer or mallet (sold separately) is used to drive the setting tool downward until its shoulder makes contact with the anchor, expanding the anchor within the hole. After the setting tool has been removed, an item can be mounted by inserting a threaded fastener (sold separately) through it and into the anchor
